QG learns to remember

My agent keeps a journal now. What it should keep, and what it should let go.

    QG now suggests what to pin. I accept about half.

    The ones I turn down say more about me than about it.

  2. Measured

    Lines read back each morning, before and after the cut. Nothing I needed went missing.

    The journal: a page a night, back to 1 Sep.

    Written at midnight, read back at 7 a.m., before the first answer.

    QG kept every word. By day four, it read back 212 lines before its first answer.

    A memory without a date is a rumour. Every decision now carries its day.

    I asked QG what we had decided last Tuesday. It had no idea we had ever spoken.
